Steph
Steph is the glue that holds our family together—the mummy who looks after all of us (Josh included!). She leads the way in worldschooling, daily care, and planning, ensuring our travels feel like home wherever we go. Without her, we’d all be lost! Steph loves spending time with the kids, especially during creative art sessions that bring learning to life—Isaac’s art lessons with her are always something special. She also enjoys walking, sunsets, and the occasional Netflix series or family movie night.
This journey excites her because it’s about stepping out of her comfort zone, experiencing life to the fullest, and giving our children the best opportunities to grow. She’s looking forward to understanding the world better and watching her kids thrive in this incredible lifestyle. Oh, and if you ever want to win Steph over, start with Harry Potter—she’s a superfan!
Josh
As the remote worker of the family, Josh keeps things ticking over as a website and e-commerce manager while the family travels. Passionate about traveling, building businesses, and inspiring others to take the leap into this lifestyle. A creative at heart, he loves designing websites, diving into digital marketing, and exploring new ways to share the journey.
For Josh, this adventure was about escaping the rising costs and repetitive cycle of life in Lancashire. Now, debt-free, saving money, and making memories that would have been impossible in the daily grind. Josh is most excited to dive into new cultures, embrace unfamiliar environments, and perhaps even find the family’s future home. A self-proclaimed class clown, Josh brings the Dad jokes – but his biggest goal is to ensure the family has the best experiences and opportunities life can offer.
Isaac
Isaac is our lively, energetic 5-year-old who charms everyone he meets with his politeness and mature nature. He’s incredibly in touch with his emotions, making him a heartwarming presence in any room, and his love for animals always shines through. Whether it’s practicing parkour at every opportunity, kicking a football around the park, building masterpieces with his beloved LEGO, or zooming around a go-kart track, Isaac’s enthusiasm is contagious. Go-karting has become one of his favorite activities, and we make sure to take him at least once a month to fuel his love for speed and adventure.
Adjusting to life on the road was a bit tough at first, especially making friends, but Isaac’s confidence has grown. Now, his vibrant personality helps him connect with other kids wherever we go. He loves his 1-to-1 lessons with mummy, where his endless curiosity and intelligence are nurtured, ensuring every day is both fun and educational.
Amaia
Amaia is our playful and cheerful baby who brightens every day with her beautiful smile – complete with her two adorable bottom teeth! She’s recently started clapping her hands and saying “mummy,” “daddy,” “bye-bye,” and “hiya,” which has melted all of our hearts. Her bond with Isaac has blossomed during our travels – they’ve become best friends, and their closeness is helping Amaia develop in so many wonderful ways.
She adores Isaac’s toys (sometimes more than her own), which can cause a bit of sibling stress, but Isaac is always kind enough to share. Amaia’s approach to mobility is delightfully laid-back – she prefers rolling over to get where she needs to be rather than learning to crawl! For Amaia, travel life is all she’s ever known, and she thrives on the attention she gets from locals wherever we go. Her infectious smile and warm presence bring joy to everyone she meets.
